CUE Terms of Service

Effective date: October 4, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Square One Media LLC ("Square One", "we", "us"), a Georgia limited liability company, about the CUE desktop app, the cuealerts.com website, CUE accounts, and the online services CUE uses (together, "CUE"). By creating an account, installing, or using CUE, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CUE.

1. Who can use CUE

• You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to buy a subscription.
• You must follow TikTok's rules and the rules of every other service you connect to CUE.
• One account is for one person or one creator. Do not share your account.

2. Your license to use CUE

• While your subscription is active (or during a free trial or free features), we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use CUE on your own computers for your own streams.
• You may not copy, resell, rent, share, reverse-engineer, or remove notices from CUE, except where the law allows it or an open-source license included with CUE allows it.
• CUE includes open-source software and sounds under their own licenses. Those licenses are listed in CUE and take priority for those parts.
• Sounds, visuals, and voices included in CUE may be used only inside CUE for your streams and recordings. You may not extract them and sell, share, or upload them as files on their own.
• We own CUE. Everything not given to you here is kept by us.

3. Subscriptions

• Plans: CUE Square $12 a month or $120 a year, CUE $20 a month or $200 a year, CUE + Tracking $30 a month or $300 a year (when available). Current prices are on cuealerts.com.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account (Manage plan). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Free trial: 7 days for new customers outside Square One. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged.
• If a payment fails, you have 7 days to fix it before paid features lock.
• We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and it starts at your next renewal.
• Taxes may be added where the law requires.
• CUE checks your plan online. Paid features keep working offline for up to 7 days after the last check.
• Practice mode and setup are free.

4. Add-on packages

• Packages are one-time purchases on top of any plan.
• A package you bought stays yours to use in CUE after your subscription ends, for as long as we offer CUE. The license in section 2 applies to package content.
• Package prices are shown in CUE before you buy.

5. Square One member pricing

• Active Square One creators ("Squares") can get the Square price by linking their ONEhub account.
• We check with ONEhub only whether you are an active Square.
• If you stop being an active Square, your plan moves to the regular price at your next renewal. We will tell you before that happens.

6. Affiliate program (Squares only)

• Only active Squares can join, by invitation. Joining also requires accepting the affiliate terms, which we give you when you are invited.
• Commission: 20% of payments from people who sign up through your link, for the period stated in the affiliate terms. Paid through our affiliate provider after a 30-day hold for refunds.
• No spam, no fake or self-referrals, no paid ads on our brand name, no misleading claims. You must say you earn a commission when you share your link.
• We may end an affiliate's participation and hold commissions earned by breaking these rules.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use CUE to:

• break the law, TikTok's rules, or any connected service's rules;
• show or play content that is hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, or that you do not have the right to use;
• spam, manipulate engagement, or mislead viewers (for example fake gift alerts presented as real);
• attack, overload, or try to get around the security of CUE, the overlay relay, or our servers;
• share your private overlay link or account with others to avoid paying.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Not affiliated with TikTok

CUE is not made, endorsed, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. TikTok and TikTok LIVE are their trademarks. LIVE events reach CUE through our ONEhub service and third-party providers, not an official TikTok API. TikTok may change or block this at any time, and some features may stop working without notice.

9. Third-party services

CUE can connect to services we do not run, such as Spotify, OBS Studio, Streamer.bot, Myinstants, Stripe, and GitHub (for updates). Your use of them is under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, their availability, or their changes. Some features (for example Spotify) need your own account or developer app with that service.

10. Your content and settings

• You are responsible for everything you add to CUE and put on your stream: sounds, images, videos, text, TTS messages, and sounds you download from sites like Myinstants. You must have the rights to use them. Music and sound clips are often copyrighted.
• You give us permission to store and send your content only as needed to run CUE for you (for example, sending an image you chose to the overlay relay so TikTok LIVE Studio can show it).
• You are responsible for webhooks you set up: where they send data, what data they send, and what the receiving site does with it.
• You are responsible for any OBS, Streamer.bot, Spotify, or other connection you set up, and for keeping your passwords safe.

11. Automations

CUE runs actions automatically when LIVE events happen (alerts, sounds, TTS, timers, roulette, points, chat commands, webhooks, OBS and Streamer.bot actions). Automations can misfire, repeat, run late, or not run, for example because of internet problems, TikTok changes, or settings mistakes. Test them in Practice first. You are responsible for what your automations do on your stream and on your computer. Viewer points have no cash value and cannot be bought or sold through CUE.

12. Changes and availability

We may change, add, or remove features. We update CUE automatically. We try to keep CUE running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. If we remove a major paid feature, we will offer a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your current period.

13. Disclaimer

CUE is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost income, gifts, followers, or data;
• our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

15. Termination

• You can stop using CUE and cancel at any time.
• We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or if we must for legal reasons. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
• When your plan ends, paid features lock. Practice mode, setup, and packages you bought stay available as described above. Sections 2 (limits), 8–11, and 13–17 continue after termination.

16. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Georgia, unless we agree otherwise. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to fix it.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in CUE or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using CUE after that means you accept the new terms.
